KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - A former University police officer and his wife have plead guilty to an identity theft conspiracy that targeted college students at UCM.
Prosecutors said Amanda Drake, 30, of Warrensburg plead guilty Friday in U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Mo. Her husband, James Drake, 46, plead guilty to the same charge Jan. 4.

James Drake was an officer with the University of Central Missouri Police Department in Warrensburg.
The Drakes admitted stealing a University enrollment list in May 2009 that included students' names, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.

Prosecutors say the Drakes used the information to obtain credit cards in the students' names, with more than 250 victims and a loss of more than $30,000.
