If not, you could be left just as upset with yourself as you were when you found out that the guy who sat behind you in your biology class became "American Idol" winner David Cook.
These three students are doing something extra other than class and work. They are making a movie. However, instead of rushing off to Hollywood, they are going about it in a different way.
They are creating an independent film titled "0:22:43," and actually staying independent.
"It's frustrating to see an independent film and that it's got a budget of $20 million," White said. "We're using people you're going to know, who deserve to be in this film. We're not bringing in people from Hollywood."
The film has no budget, but they hope to gain funds through their Web site www.2243THEMOVIE.com and the new PayPal application they have set up.
The film is a horror film based around four college students on a road trip who get into a car accident and have their car stolen. They end up "finding a group of people who have a much bigger plan than they ever thought." Instead of the typical slasher movie, "0:22:43" is going to have "smart characters."
"We're trying to make this a smart horror film," Terveer said. "We're trying to think realistically. I wouldn't go running through the woods, or I wouldn't go running up stairs. That's been a challenge, thinking stuff up."
The production team has already had auditions for actors and actresses and the next step will be filming, which began March 27. To fit the filming into everyone's schedule, it will take place on weekends until the first weekend in May. The feature film is then going to be submitted to the Fright Night Film Festival in Louisville, Ky.
White came up with the idea for the film last year. He and Thompson intended to submit it into the same festival. It was only going to be a short film, but the two soon realized it would take much more than what a short film would allow. It then became a much bigger project and Terveer joined the team in November 2008.
