BAKE SALE
The Africana Studies Club will be hosting a bake sale Oct. 8 from 9-3 p.m. on the first floor of Wood. For more information contact Lena Turner at lxt33500@ucmo.edu.

TALENT SHOW
Family Weekend begins Oct. 4 and the Spotlight is celebrating with a Talent Show. Tickets are $3 and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. in Hendricks Hall. For more information you may contact Lindsay Waters at 543-4293.

ELECTIONS
The Student Government Association will be running the annual homecoming elections Oct. 21 - 22. Students may vote in the Union, Ellis dining hall or online at www.ucmo.edu/portal/ between 8 - 6 p.m. For more information students may contact Courtney Mitchell at cemitchell@ucmo.edu.

GRANTS AVAILABLE
UCM honor society Phi Kappa Phi announced the availability of a limited number of grants for supplemental funding of non-classroom activities at UCM. To obtain an application or more information contact Dianna Bryant at 543-4971.

WOMEN'S LUNCHEON
Central's Retired Women's Luncheon will be Oct. 16 from 12:15-2:00 p.m. in Union 234. Tickets are $10 and include lunch. For more information call Sarah Craig at 543-4048.

UCM DEMOCRATS
The UCM Democrats are meeting at Fitter's Oct. 9 at 4 p.m. for pizza and democratic politics. For more information contact Mark Mueller at (573)353-5837.

'CABARET'
Tickets are now on sale for Cabaret, the first fall production presented by UCM's Theater and Music Departments. Performances will be in the Highlander Theatre Oct. 8-11 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 12 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $7 for students, $12 for faculty and $15 for general admission. To contact the Box Office call 543-8811.

ROCK SALE
The Geology Club is holding their annual Rock and Mineral Sale Oct. 2-3 from 9-4 p.m. in the Union across from Taco Bell.They will be selling minerals, fossils and some jewelry. The money raised will go to fund their end-of-year trip to Glacier National Park in Montana. For more information talk to a student at the sale.

SYMPHONY AT UCM
The Kansas City Symphony will perform at 5 p.m. Sunday in Hendricks Hall. Tickets are still available for students, faculty, staff and general admission. Prices range from $14 to $40. To order tickets call the Box Office at 543-8888.

ABC DANCE
The Association of Black Collegiates Dance Company will perform in the Union Atrium Wednesday at noon.
